Wong Coco Sliced Steamed Brownies

Ingredients :

  • 3 Eggs
  • 150g Granulated sugar
  • 100g All-purpose flour
  • 250g Wong Coco Nata de Coco Dugan
  • 150g Liquid margarine
  • Fresh strawberries for decoration
  • 50g walnuts/almonds (finely chopped, toasted), as desired
  • Powdered vanilla, to taste

Method :

  • Lightly beaten eggs, granulated sugar and powdered vanilla until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Add liquid margarine into the mixture and stir using a spatula.
  • Add in flour and half of Wong Coco Nata de Coco Dugan that was previously sliced along with walnuts/almonds (as desired) into the mixture, mix well.
  • Pour mixture into a brownies pan that was previously spread with margarine and sprinkled with flour.
  • Prepare a steamer and wrap the cover with cloth so that the steam won’t drip into the cake mixture.
  • Steam the mixture until half cooked, then place Wong Coco Nata de Coco Dugan on top; steam again until cooked.
  • Place brownies on a serving plate.
